Users of the SIGMA RIDE APP for iOS can now share the data they have collected with their SIGMA bike computer with the Apple Health app. By pairing with the SIGMA RIDE app, all training activities are bundled and can be easily shared. Whether cyclists want to tell their training partner their new best time or their health insurance company the kilometres they have ridden!

This is Apple Health

Health is a health and fitness app that collects a lot of health-related data and displays it for the user. It displays all useful data through an easy-to-understand interface. Some health-related data can be collected by the app itself – for example, the number of steps taken – or can access figures from other apps or devices. The data collected in this way is divided into four categories: Activity, Mindfulness, Sleep and Nutrition. The main focus is on the development, i.e. the change in the health data provided over a certain period of time. In addition, Apple Health serves as an interface to other systems such as bonus programmes of various health insurance companies: If users want, Apple Health transmits their training data to their health insurance company’s app and they can save money with their fitness.
