Innovation made in Germany: behind the scenes at SIGMA
How are SIGMA’s newest innovations developed? What drives us? And what are our visions for the future? The new film about the mid-sized family-owned company answers these and many other questions. It was made as part of a documentary series by Welt.de entitled “Innovation Deutschland”.
It offers a fascinating, informative behind-the-scenes view of our company in Neustadt an der Weinstraße – from research to development to packaging. Ralf Szepanski, a well-known television presenter for ZDF, a German television broadcaster, accompanies Managing Director Robin Schendel on a bike tour through the vineyards, discovering how important cycling is to him. He also receives revealing information about the company’s aspiration to manufacture smart, value-added products in the areas of safety, motivation, and navigation. Our product managers, Deborah Gyesaw and Lars Lukas Tremper, field Szepanski’s questions, and Managing Director Thomas Seifert reports on the company’s goals and DNA.
