BC 14.0 WR

Who wants to ride high?

BC 14.0 WR

All-rounder for hill riders

The BC 14.0 WR’s altitude measurement function makes the device the flagship of the SIGMA ORIGINALS computers. The wired bike computer’s 14 functions make it a true all-rounder. It saves your statistics for the last twelve months – for up to two bikes as well (optional). This bike computer was made for riders who love hills!

Broad functional package

Climb high! The BC 14.0 WR’s integrated barometric altitude measurement and monthly statistics help you keep a close eye on your performance on hills and in valleys. In all, the bike computer features more than 14 functions.

Records every meter of altitude

Hill riders get their money’s worth: The BC 14.0 WR is a perfect companion – especially on steep hills. This SIGMA ORIGINAL displays your current altitude and incline. After a ride, the wired bike computer gives you an overview of the meters you climbed on that day’s ride and the maximum altitude you reached. It also saves the total altitude you have climbed on all your rides.

Stable data transfer

The speedometer’s direct cable connection with the transmitter ensures smooth speed measurement. The BC 14.0 WR needs no battery for wired transmission, and you can use your bike computer for years without changing its battery.

One speedometer for two bikes

If you regularly ride different bikes, it’s easy to use the BC 14.0 WR on your second bike. After setting it up once, you can select the bike you are currently using on your bike computer. To install it on a second bike, you will need another bracket and a second transmitter, which you can find in SIGMA’s online shop.

Simple tire size selection

You can set up the BC 14.0 WR easily thanks to the pre-defined tire sizes, which range from a small child’s bike to a 29″ bike. You can also enter the tire circumference exactly to the millimeter.

Tour statistics

When the ride is over, the BC 14.0 WR’s usefulness has just started. It displays your personal statistics for the last twelve months – total distance, ride time, and altitude. This “workout diary” helps you compare your activities on a monthly basis.

large Display – sporty Design

The BC 14.0 WR’s slim design and angular shape cuts a nice figure on a sporty bike. At 31 x 41 mm, the display is larger than its predecessor. That provides room for large numbers that are very easy to read during a ride. The current speed is displayed continuously, and you can select whatever second value you want. When it gets dark, you can switch on the backlight.

Intuitive operation

You can set and operate the bike computer intuitively with three buttons. You can use the two lower buttons to conveniently toggle among the individual functions. The menu button takes you to the settings and the monthly statistics. Your ORIGINAL is practical: Its integrated start/stop function begins measurement as soon as you start your tour and stops when you take a break or finish your tour.

CABLED INSTALLATION

You can attach the BC 14.0 WR’s bracket to the handlebars or stem with two cable ties. The speed transmitter can be mounted the same way. The computer receives all the necessary data through the cable. You can remove the bike computer at any time and stow it conveniently – and just as quickly get it ready for your next hill adventure!

For orderliness and a perfect view:
the over clamp butler

You can also fix your BC 14.0 WR in place with the SIGMA Overclamp Butler, which is available from the online shop as an accessory. It gives you more space and organizes your handlebars to give you an ideal view of the device. You can use a screw to secure it against theft. The Butler fits handlebars of 31.8 and 35 mm diameters.

Sporty with the Long Butler

The Long Butler has more distance from the handlebars and promotes an athletic posture. You can mount it on handlebars with diameters of 25.4 and 31.8 mm in a few easy steps and use a screw to secure it against theft. The Long Butler is available in our online shop as an accessory.

Supports multi-day tours

The BC 14.0 WR measures exactly how long you have been on the bike during your tour and how far you have ridden. You can conveniently calculate ride time and distance for a multi-day cycling excursion.

Bicycle inspection reminder function

A bicycle needs regular maintenance, because it reveals defects in the brakes, chain and tyres. Thanks to the service interval, the BC 14.0 WR reminds you to have your bike inspected after 750 kilometres. The service interval is therefore a helpful feature for your safety and appears for a total of five times after switching on the device.

Astoundingly little power consumption

A button battery (CR 2450) supplies your BC 14.0 WR on all your tours for more than two years without being changed. During battery replacement, an integrated chip stores all the values and settings.

Waterproof and weatherproof

The BC 14.0 WR is waterproof, so it will remain a reliable companion, no matter what weather you are out in.

A true linguistic talent

Who can speak seven languages? The BC 14.0 WR can. You can choose from English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Polish for the full text display.
