Safe riding day and night with the new BLAZE FLASH rear light

Following the success of the BLAZE, SIGMA is adding the BLAZE FLASH to its rear light product range starting immediately – offering even more safety with two flash modes! The integrated brake light function and brightness sensor themselves provide a great deal of convenience, and now the Pulse Flashing and Eco Flashing modes ensure more safety and visibility. The slim, lightweight BLAZE FLASH is thus the perfect companion in road traffic.

Neustadt an der Weinstraße, november 18, 2021. The new BLAZE FLASH rear light will ensure more safety in road traffic starting immediately. An integrated acceleration sensor detects the rider’s braking process. Then three LEDs light up, signalling the braking process for other road users. This is a practical feature, especially for riding in a group.

Four light modes to choose from
Cyclists have four light modes to choose from: in Night Mode, the BLAZE FLASH lights up continuously for up to nine hours. Two brake LEDs in addition to the continuous light provide a high signal effect. In Day Mode, the rear light is off, and only the brake light function is activated. The brightness sensor detects the ambient light and automatically switches the rear light on and off as required. This is ideal for passing through tunnels or riding on dark forest roads. The battery-powered BLAZE FLASH also has two innovative flash modes. Pulse Flash with its three pulsing red LEDs lasts for eleven hours, drawing attention to the cyclist. Eco Flash lasts even longer (up to 50 hours) with a flashing red LED. This ensures lots of safety and fun, even on long tours.

The flashing rear light can be seen at a distance of up to 500 meters. It fits discreetly but effectively on the seat post, has a low dead weight, and can be fastened quickly and without tools. This makes it ideal for sporty bikers, commuters, and frequent travellers. The battery can be fully recharged in three hours. Like all USB lights from SIGMA, the BLAZE FLASH has a charging indicator and is splash-proof according to IPX4.

The BLAZE FLASH rear light is now available from retailers for an RRP of €27.95 (not in Germany).
